Chinese PMPs are stretching their horizons in video playing. Chinese PMPs have supported RealMedia when few portable players in the West bothered with the format.
Chinese PMPs have also begun supporting HDTV, cranking up widescreen PMPs to suit the demands of a more sophisticated consumer base.
VOB, FLV, RMVB, MPEG4, MPEG2, MP4 video file formats, to name a few, can now be played back without conversion on newer PMP MP4 players.
