MTV Video Format and Converter/Conversion Software Download
The .MTV video format is found on mostly Chinese made MP4 Multimedia PMP PVP Players. Most people do not know this, but most "MP4" players are not capable of playing .MP4 (MPEG-4) file format videos. One has to use a software converter to convert video files to .MTV to allow them to view videos on their portable MP4 players.
.MTV file format file sizes are small compared to other formats such as DVD or VCD's. The files are low resolution with low frame rate, and they also have a very low compression ratio.
Most MTV conversion software allow you to transcode videos in 4 sizes of 94x64, 128x96, and 128x128, typically set to frame rates of 8, 12 and 16 frames per second.
