What are MP4 OLED Displays?

OLED is the acronym for Organic Light-Emitting Diode. This technology was invented by Eastman Kodak in the 1980's, and it is gradually replacing LCD technology.  The reason OLED is being used now in technology devices such as MP4 players, PDAs and Cell Phones compared to LCD is because of several reasons:

1. OLED is faster than LCD

2. OLED uses Less power than LCD

3. OLED has a higher contrast than LCD

4. OLED is cheaper to manufacture compared to LCD

5. OLED is brighter than LCD

6. OLED is thinner than LCD

7. OLED is lighter than LCD

8. OLED does not require a backlight to function.
